Lenzing Plastics is the world’s leading manufacturer of monoaxially oriented products and functional laminates made of biomaterials, polyolefins, engineering plastics and fluoropolymers. Our extensive know-how in the production of thermoplastic and PTFE solutions for many industries makes us the ideal partner for high-quality and, in many cases, highly customized niche products.

Lenzing Plastics was founded in 1966 as part of Lenzing AG and operates as an independent company with a clear commitment to Austria as a production site. Lenzing Plastics is now majority owned by investment companies of Raiffeisen Landesbank (RLB) Upper Austria and about 20% is owned by current and former management members.

Our core competences are monoaxial stretching of polymers and lamination of polymeric materials with a wide variety of materials. In our thermoplastic production, we manufacture films, tapes and yarns, fabrics as well as laminates with, for example, extremely high strengths. Our extensive expertise in PTFE makes us the ideal partner when it comes to developing and manufacturing high-quality specialty products. Of course, we also offer a wide range of standard products in top quality.
